Who should attend:
• Practicing lawyers with all levels of experience and responsibility.
• Members of in-house legal departments of companies, that want to develop their legal English skills.
• Last year’s students, graduates or postgraduates who need to supplement their training, obtaining an official certificate to guarantee their knowledge of legal English.

Duration: 72 h. ILEC module and 40 h. Anglo American Module

Beginning of selection process: October 2011

Schedule: The program will be developed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from November to June.

  • Anglo American Law Module: It will be developed on Saturdays from November to May (10:00 to 14:00 hours)
  • ILEC Module: It will be developed on Mondays and Wednesdays from November to June (2 groups, one from 14:15 to 15:45 h., and the other from 20:15 to 21:45 h.

Training mode: In classroom course

Dedication: Part time

Total hours: 112 h

Application fees: The application fee for the whole program is €3,500. A discount of 25% will be applied for two or more applications from the same company.

Past students of Centro de Estudios Garrigues will receive a 30% discount (€2,450) for the whole program and for each module, moreover, current postgraduate students will be entitled to a 50% discount (€1,750).

Participants have the possibility of applying just for one of the two modules. The fees for each module are:
  • Anglo American Law Module – €1,700.
  • International Legal English Module – €2,450.

The International Legal English Module includes the book “International Legal English + Audio CDs + Answers” published by Cambridge University Press and documentation regarding expressions, vocabulary, exercises, tests for preparing the exam, etc.

The Anglo-American Law Module includes the book “Anglo-American Law Fundamentals” and documentation concerning contracts, practice cases, etc.

The Cambridge ILEC Examination will be taken at Centro de Estudios Garrigues facilities. Exam fees are not included in the program application fees.
