La Universidad de Harvard, fundada en 1636,
es la institución de enseñanza superior más antigua de Estados Unidos y,
probablemente, la de mayor prestigio en ese país. La Harvard University Library
es la mayor biblioteca académica del mundo. Sus colecciones, repartidas por más de
noventa bibliotecas, contienen más de quince millones de volúmenes y otros documentos de valor.
El Centro de Estudios mantiene una activa colaboración con el Real Colegio Complutense en
Harvard (cofundador del European Law Research Center en el Harvard Law School),
que permitirá a los alumnos del Centro, una vez finalizados sus respectivos Másters,
disfrutar de un periodo de estancia en la Universidad de Harvard .
Allí podrán llevar a cabo labores de investigación,
asistir a cursos de formación y acceder a las bibliotecas de Harvard.

La Universidad de Georgetown, fundada en 1789, es la universidad nacional católica
y jesuita más antigua de Estados Unidos. El campus de la facultad de derecho está
en el corazón de Washington, D.C. en un recinto de cinco edificios cerca del Capitolio.
Georgetown es reconocida por sus profesores y sus especialidades en derecho internacional
y comparado, y anualmente acoge a más de 200 alumnos internacionales de 50 países.
El Georgetown Law Center ofrece a los alumnos del Centro de Estudios Garrigues la posibilidad
de participar en el curso "Foundations of American Law and Legal Education" consistente en
una introducción al derecho americano, el método de derecho anglosajón

volumes and other valuable documents.
The Centro de Estudios actively collaborates with Real Colegio Complutense in Harvard
(cofounder of the European Law Research Center at Harvard Law School).
This collaboration makes it possible for students of the Center to enjoy
a stay at Harvard University once they have finished their Masters
programs where they can carry out research, attend training courses and access Harvard’s libraries.

The Georgetown Law Center campus is situated in the heart of Washington, D.C.,
and consists of five buildings near the capitol. Georgetown is renowned for its professors and its international and comparative
law specialties and every year it takes on over 200 international students from 50 countries.
Georgetown Law Center offers the students of Centro de Estudios Garrigues the possibility
of participating in the course "Foundations of American Law and Legal Education",
which consists of an introduction to American law, common law and the basic principles of American law.
Once the course has ended, all the participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a stay at the University
to carry out an intensive English course and research work in its magnificent libraries.
