José Morejón

José Morejón Villanueva holds a Bachelor in Law, a Master in Human Resources Management from Centro de Estudios Garrigues, and an in-company MBA from IE Business School. He is a certified change management practitioner, mentor, and executive coach.

An expert in people management, culture, and leadership, he has twenty-five years of experience consulting for companies in the pharmaceutical and financial services sectors, as well as six years of international experience, between Europe and Latin America.

He was corporate talent management director at Banco Santander and is now global human resources director, responsible for the group’s digital and HR transformation processes, as well as overseeing all aspects of change management. Prior to this, he spent more than a decade at Roche Pharmaceuticals, where he held various management positions both in Spain and at the company’s headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. His last role in the company was as regional human resources director, based in San José, Costa Rica. His career in HR consulting began (at Watson Wyatt, in Madrid and Brussels) after completing a curricular internship during his master’s programme at Centro de Estudios Garrigues.

Once a student of the second ever cohort of that programme, he is now the director of the Master in Human Resources Management.
