Admission process

The admission process is currently open for programmes starting in 2025.

The admission process to study at Centro de Estudios Garrigues is open all year round, although enrolment in any of our programmes is subject to availability and suitability of the applicant’s profile for the programme in question.

Bachelor’s degrees

First phase: submitting your application

To apply for admission, you must fill in the application form, which you will find in this section.

When applying for admission, you need to include the following documents:

  • proof that you have passed the Spanish University Admission Tests (‘Selectividad’);
  • academic transcript for your Spanish Baccalaureate;
  • two copies of your national identity card;
  • academic transcript transfer fees.

The admission process is subject to a non-refundable fee of €120, payable in cash or by bank transfer to Centro de Estudios Garrigues’ current account, quoting the student’s name in the reference field. Proof of payment must be submitted to the admissions department prior to the date on which the tests are held.

Should the student ultimately enrol in the programme, the admission process fees will be deducted from the reservation fee.

Second phase: admission tests

What are the admission tests?

  • The admission tests consist of a video presentation or ‘video interview’ intended to introduce the applicant through a series of predetermined questions;
  • competencies and skills assessment test;
  • general knowledge test;
  • language assessment tests;
  • personal interview.

When will you know if you have been admitted?

You will receive an admission letter, by email, informing you of the result of the admission tests.

Third phase: reserving a place

Once admission to one of our programmes has been confirmed, the admissions department will inform you of the procedure that you will need to follow to reserve your place.

Enrolment

All newly admitted students must register before they can enrol on the programme.

Our admissions department will provide applicants with all the documents and forms required to formalise their enrolment.

Full-time master’s degrees

There are two ways to apply for admission to a programme:

  • fill in the application form, which you will find in this section;
  • download the application form in PDF format, fill in a printed copy of the form and submit it by email or post, or deliver it in person to Centro de Estudios Garrigues.

You will need to include the following documents:

  • full academic transcript of your undergraduate degree (and a copy of your undergraduate diploma), if you have completed your undergraduate studies (note: enrolment in our master’s degree programmes requires an undergraduate degree, as specified in each programme; if this degree was obtained at a foreign university, its homologation will also be required; (*)
  • academic transcript or sworn statement of grades obtained to date, if you are in the final year of your undergraduate studies;
  • certificates accrediting your knowledge of languages, if you indicated a C2 proficiency level in your application;
  • curriculum vitae, if applicable, with reference to internships, work experience, or other activities carried out to date;
  • at least two letters of recommendation (format included in the application form) filled in and signed by professionals from the academic or business sectors.

(*) Applicants from educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area may be admitted without the need to have their degrees homologated, provided that it can be verified that they accredit a level of education equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish undergraduate degrees and that those degrees are recognised in the country of origin as giving access to graduate studies.

Please include:

  • Full degree transcript (if you are in the final year of your studies, a sworn statement of grades or a non-certified electronic record will suffice);
  • Certificates of language proficiency;
  • Curriculum vitae;
  • Your cover letter; and
  • Two letters of recommendation (format included in the application form) filled in and signed by professionals from the academic or business sectors (if the signatory is an alumnus of Centro de Estudios Garrigues, only one letter of recommendation is necessary).

Second phase: admission tests

Applicants to our master’s degree programmes will be called for an admission test by letter (with email confirmation) in the order in which their applications are received and in accordance with the test timetable established by the admissions department.

The tests consist of:

  • Psychometric assessments;
  • Writing assessments;
  • English proficiency assessments;
  • Group dynamics assessments.

Third phase: personal interview

Applicants who pass the tests described above will be invited to a personal interview with the academic director or with the programme director.

Outcome of the process

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of the process by letter, with a copy sent by email. You will receive one of the following types of letters:

  • Admission: You can exercise the right to reserve your place and submit the documents required for enrolment.
  • Conditional admission: You can exercise the right to reserve your place, but you must have completed your undergraduate degree before the start of the programme in order to be admitted to the master’s programme.
  • No admission.
