Yesterday, Alcobendas City Council and Centro de Estudios Garrigues signed a cooperation agreement. The two institutions pledged to establish academic excellence scholarships for students residing in Alcobendas who wish to study the Bachelor in Law + Master in International Business Law programme. The agreement provides for two scholarships of 70 per cent tuition and another two of 80 per cent tuition for low-income students.
‘We are pleased to have an institution that offers such high-quality and excellence in education as Centro de Estudios Garrigues in Alcobendas. That is what we want for our city: excellence in all areas,’ said Aitor Retolaza, mayor of Alcobendas, while highlighting the ‘importance of cooperation between the public and the private sectors.’
According to Félix Plaza Romero, president of Centro de Estudios Garrigues, ‘It is always a pleasure to work with the municipality of Alcobendas. The aim at our school is to offer the best, by the best, and to the best, because we believe in excellence, specialisation, and talent.’
