On 17 November 2022, Centro de Estudios Garrigues welcomed its new students with the official opening of the 2022/23 academic year.
The event, chaired by Félix Plaza Romero, president of Centro de Estudios Garrigues, also included the participation of Elena Gazapo Carretero, academic director of Universidad Europea de Madrid, and Antonio Martín Espina, president of the Spanish Basketball Clubs Association (ACB).
Mercedes de Prada Rodríguez, academic director of Centro de Estudios Garrigues, conducted the ceremony and welcomed the new cohort of students, inviting them to face this new stage of their education with enthusiasm and excitement.
Elena Gazapo Carretero, in turn, expressed her gratitude for the trust that the new students had placed in Centro de Estudios Garrigues, wishing them every success in the new academic year.
The keynote address was delivered by Antonio Martín Espina, president of the Spanish ACB, who argued that commitment to excellence is key for students to improve —both as professionals and as individuals.
Félix Plaza Romero, president of Centro Estudios Garrigues, closed the ceremony with warm words of encouragement to the students and a special welcome to the first cohort of the joint Bachelor in Law + Master in International Business Law programme.
