Ángel Calleja

Ángel Calleja Crespo is a practicing lawyer. He holds a dual Bachelor in Law and in Economics & Business from Comillas Pontifical University, as well as a Master in Financial and Tax Law from Escuela de Economía at CEMad. He is counsel at White & Case.

Ángel specialises in complex international and Spanish tax law and commercial law matters for multinational corporations. He is a senior adviser to the boards of directors and senior management of some of the biggest Spanish and multinational corporations on key legal/financial issues, both in Spain and abroad. He also boasts expertise in high-level negotiations with government authorities and regulators and extensive international experience in commercial and management matters in Europe, the United States, Latin America, Asia, and North Africa.

Ángel has consulted across all major industries involving multinational corporations over the course of his career, including telecommunications, finance, infrastructure, energy, and private equity.
